Written by Idit Cébula and Emmanuelle Michelet, the screenplay starts with Faïga’s funeral, the occasion for her children Charles, Rosemonde and Emma to see each other again in their childhood flat at 13 rue Mandar. Each delves back into their memories and, between laughter and tears, weariness and frenzy, looks for the best way to tackle a life that goes one.

Produced by Catherine Bozorgan for Manchester Films an d Christine Gozlan for Thelma Films, 13 rue Mandar benefits from a budget of €3.9m including, among others, the coproduction of Wild Bunch (who will ensure distribution in French cinemas during the first half of 2013), pre-sales by Canal + and Ciné+, as well as support from the French region of Ile-de-France. International sales will be led by Other Angle Pictures.

Thelma Films and Manchester Films also have A Monkey on My Shoulder by Marion Lainé with Juliette Binoche and Edgar Ramirez (read more) in post-production.
