Inside Pictures Hollywood-bound

Starting today, 3 March, the Inside Pictures Programme. is welcoming applications from film professionals and talent who wish to access Hollywood’s most influential executives by means of a series of seminars, workshops and studio visits both in London and Los Angeles, between June and November 2003.
The three intensive weeklong courses will be open to 14 hand-picked participants with a minimum of three years’ experience in film or an associated creative industry such as TV, advertising or music. “We’re looking for executives and producers with ambition and a desire to broaden their knowledge of the global film industry and expand their contacts,” said John Woodward, CEO at the Film Council which invested £350,000 (over Euros510,000) lottery cash in the training initiative, developed by London-based production and media consultancy firm Kuhn & Co. The deadline for submissions is 11 April
Inside Pictures’ sponsors include United International Pictures (UIP) and the international law firm Dorsey & Whitney, while the British Film Office in Los Angeles will provide practical support for the programme.
Key speakers and tutors confirmed include the team behind international hits like Four Weddings…and Bridget Jones’ Diary: screenwriter Richard Curtis, producers Duncan Kenworthy (DNA Films) and Tim Bevan (Working Title), as well as executives from US majors Universal, 20th Century Fox and Paramount at the MPAA.
The deadline for submissions is 11 April.
