Maurice Garrel takes final bow

Father of film director Philippe Garrel and grandfather of actor Louis Garrel, French thesp Maurice Garrel died in Paris on Saturday June 4, at the age of 88. Having started out in theatre, he made his film debut in the early 1960s and built up a filmography of over 120 films.
