Free Men, Prodigies join line-up
Today, several titles were added to the Official Selection for the 64th Cannes Film Festival (May 11-22, 2011 – see news).
A homage to Egypt will be held on May 18, showing the collective film 18 Days, among others. The festival will also host educational screenings for high-school pupils, including two French majority productions: Ismäel Ferrouki’s Free Men (see news) and Antoine Charreyron’s animated feature The Prodigies (see news).
Two documentaries have also been added to the line-up as special screenings: Mourad Ben Cheikh’s Plus Jamais Peur (Tunisia) and Josh Tickell’s The Big Fix (United States).
