Films du Losange’s ambitions for EFM

French international seller Les Films du Losange will attend the market at the 61st Berlinale (February 10-20, 2011) with its enticing line-up full of strong titles, starting with Michael Haneke’s Love (see news), which is currently in production and stars Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and Isabelle Huppert.

Agathe Valentin’s team will be hoping for success with the market screening of Marius Holst’s King of Devil’s Island [+see also:

(see news). This Norwegian/French/Swedish/Polish co-production was one of the major attractions at the recent Rendez-Vous With French Cinema organised in Paris by Unifrance. Romanian director Marian Crisan’s Morgen [+see also:

Les Films du Losange will also pre-sell several films in post-production, including Jean-Marc Moutout’s French/Belgian co-production Early One Morning (see news), featuring Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Xavier Beauvois, Yannick Rénier and Valérie Dreville; Nicolas Klotz’s Lovers (see news); Mikael Buch’s Let My People Go! (see news), starring a Franco-Finnish cast; and Yves Caumon’s The Bird (see news), starring Sandrine Kiberlain.

Also in the line-up are Emily Atef’s German/French/Swiss co-production Kill Me (see news); and Markus Schleinzer’s Austrian feature Michael (Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion), which traces the last five months of the unintentional cohabitation between a 10-year-old child and a 35-year-old man.
