Morena Films gets ready to spend 7 Days In Havana
In line with its strategy of making films for the international market, production company Morena Films (see interview) has joined forces with France’s Full House to produce collective film 7 Days In Havana, in which seven directors will offer their personal vision of the Cuban capital. The project is produced by Álvaro Longoria and Didar Domehri for a budget of around €3m.

The film’s seven episodes will unfold over one week, one day for each. Moreover, although the episodes are self-contained, both their plot and characters are interconnected – protagonists in some shorts reappear as secondary characters in others. The different threads are tied together with the help of Cuban novelist and journalist Leonardo Padura as script coordinator.
