Spain has two films in competition at the 53rd Berlinale: Mi vida sin mì by Isabel Coixet, and Gabriele Salvatores’ Italo-Spanish co-production entitled Io non ho paura [+see also:

Polìgono Sur, a Franco-Spanish co-production, was selected for Panorama. Directed by Dominique Abel, this film was made on location in Seville’s Las Tres Mil Viviendas. Also screening in Berlin are Los Novios bùlgaros by Eloy de la Iglesia, El Traje by Alberto Rodrìguez and El viaje de Carol by Imanol Uribe.
