Cinergie focuses on cinema

In its January 2003 issue, Belgian film webzine Cinergie publishes the results of a survey into European cinema and its film industry.
Henry Ingberg, the secretary-general of Belgium’s French-language Community, and the director of Belgium’s Film and Audiovisual Center as well a fervid film fan explains what the Center’s does. It’s work ranges from creating financing mechanisms to organising reviews of Belgian films all over the world.
The webzine also contains numerous interviews, reviews of new films including Lucas Belvaux’s trilogy (Un couple épatant, Cavale and Après la vie) and La raison du plus fort, a new film by Patrick Jean about juvenile delinquents.
The webzine has a special area dedicated to the latest news from the publishing world and presents a number of new books about cinema, including “Le Carousel aux souvenirs”, the unfinished autobiography of Belgian film critic Selim Sasson.
