film profile], feauturing Michael Caine, is distributed by Nordisk Film. Ciro Guerra’s The Wind Journeys, selected at Cannes 2009 Un Certain Regard, is released by Arthaus.

film profile] by Daniel Espinosa opened to fourth place for Nordisk Film, supported by strong word of mouth from neighbouring Sweden.
Norwegian family film Yohan: The Child Wanderers (Nordisk Film) by Grete Salomonsen is still holding on to eighth place in the Norwegian Top Ten after ten weeks in cinemas. The story is based on the real-life experiences of Norwegian children who were sent to "wander" in search of work during the 1800s and early 1900s. It has sold over 112,000 admissions so far.
