Cinecittà Luce and Argentina’s INCAA have renewed the accord they signed in late 2007 to support and develop new film projects and co-productions like the recent The Artist by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, and El campo by Hernán Belón. The accord was announced in Cannes by INCAA president Liliana Mazure and its head of international relations Bernardo Bergeret, along with Cinecittà Luce CEO Luciano Sovena.

The next joint effort between Italy and Argentina, which involves Brazil and the U.K. as well, is Toxic Jungle, directed by Gianfranco Quattrini, which will start shooting in Peru in 2011.
