€106,000 allocated for foreign distribution of nine domestic films

In its second sitting of 2010, German FilmsDistribution Support awards committee chose to fund nine foreign theatrical campaigns of domestic films, for a total of €81,000. Another two theatrical releases were awarded €25,000 in a further decision.

The committee is supporting the following films:

Distribution Support subsidies are awarded for additional measures over and above a film’s release campaign planned by the foreign distributor. Support of a maximum of €50,000 is granted in the form of a conditionally repayable loan. Funding of up to €10,000 can also be allocated as a grant.
