Producers Yves Gasser (Switzerland) and Marie-Laure Reyre (France) are involved in director Francis Reusser and screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière’s project – which has been in the pipeline for two years – for a film adaptation of Jacques Chessex’s novel La Trinité.

The recently-deceased Swiss author’s work seems to be a source of inspiration for Swiss directors, for Lionel Baier (Another Man [+see also:

film profile], 2008) will also bring one of his last books, A Jew Must Die, to the big screen.
