Animated film festival Fantoche set to draw crowds
Switzerland’s most important animated film showcase, the 7th Fantoche International Animated Film Festival is taking place in Baden from September 8-13. Previously biennial, with 25,000 filmgoers in 2007, the international event will now take place yearly. No less than 224 films – shorts for the most part – have been selected in the festival’s competitions and programmes.
On show will be 10 animated shorts, including French title Fear(s) of the dark [+see also:

Animation filmmaker Caroline Leaf, artist Lauri Faggioni (both from the US), young director Tatia Rosenthal (Israel), producer Abi Feijò (Portugal) and comic book writer Thomas Ott (Switzerland) make up the members of the international competition jury.
