and Lucas Belvaux’s Rapt, to be released on November 11), I enjoyed producing a film with lower financial stakes."

However, this hasn’t prevented Sobelman from developing, at the same time, forthcoming features by Solveig Anspach, Pierre Trividic, Michel Spinosa and Jean-Pierre Darroussin. These will be followed by projects by Marina De Van, Belvaux and Lucile Hadzihalilovic.

Produced by Agat Films & Ex Nihilo, D'amour et D’eau Fraîche has co-production support from France 3 Cinéma and pre-sales from Canal + and Ciné Cinéma. Shooting will wrap on September 25 after two weeks in Languedoc-Roussillon and the film is expected for release in March 2010.

Domestic distribution will be handled by Bac Films, who have also acquired the video and international sales rights.
