film profile], which also won the Louis Delluc Award for Best Debut Film the same year, Antony Cordier will start shooting his second feature, Happy Few, on July 15 in Paris.
The cast includes an impressive quartet of actors: Marina Foïs (nominated for the Best Actress Cesar 2008 for Darling [+see also:

Co-written by the director and Julie Peyr, Happy Few explores the motivating forces behind adult love affairs: two couples meet and fall in love, lose sight of each other in the confusion and end up pulling through. In his film, Cordier tries to define "the fragility of feelings and amorous desire".
Happy Few is produced by Why Not Productions for €3.8m. This includes an advance on receipts from the National Film Centre (CNC) and €384,000 in backing from the Ile-de-France region.
The 40-day shoot will take place in Paris and wrap up on September 2. Domestic distribution will be handled by Le Pacte, while international sales are being managed by Wild Bunch.
