Cineuropa has already presented the line-ups for Wild Bunch, Celluloid Dreams, Films Distribution, Pathé International, StudioCanal, TF1 International, Les Films du Losange, MK2, UGC, Kinology, Le Pacte and Pyramide (see interview with Eric Lagesse). Several other French sellers also intend to make the most of the Film Market at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off today.

Luc Besson’s company also has US film I Love You Phillip Morris in the Directors’ Fortnight and numerous assets at the Market, including a promo-reel for Richard Berry’s L’immortel (“The Immortal”), a new trailer for Pierre Morel’s From Paris With Love and an impressive selection of animated films in production: Besson’s Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard and Arthur and the Two Worlds War; Bibo Bergeron’s A Monster in Paris; and the project Les extraordinaires aventures d’Adèle Blanc-Sec (“The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec”).

Gaumont will show promo-reels for Karim Dridi’s The Last Voyage of Lancaster (starring Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet) and Nicolas Boukkrief’s Two Cops (featuring Cécile de France). In post-production, the company has Massy Tadjedin’s Last Night, whose cast includes Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes and Canet.

The Cannes market will also host other French sales companies, including Roissy Films, SND and Wide Management.
