Kent Jones

Kent Jones is an internationally recognised writer and filmmaker. He is the author of several books of criticism and has been a regular contributor to Film Comment magazine. He has worked with Martin Scorsese on numerous documentaries: he was the co-writer of Il mio Viaggio in Italia (My Voyage to Italy), writer and director of Val Lewton: The Man in the Shadows (2007), and co-writer and director of A Letter to Elia (2010). He also co-wrote Arnaud Desplechin’s Jimmy P. (2013). He currently serves as Artistic Director of The World Cinema Foundation.
