Ursula Meier
Ursula Meier was born in Besançon, France, in 1971. She possesses both French and Swiss nationalities. She studied film and television at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Belgium and was second assistant director on Alain Tanner’s films FOURBI (1995) and JONAS ET LILA, A DEMAIN (1999). Her feature film debut, HOME (2008), screened in the Semaine de la Critique section of the Cannes Film Festival. Her film, L'ENFANT D'EN HAUT (SISTER, 2012) won the Silver Bear Special Award at the 2012 edition of the Berlinale and the Golden Swann Award for best actress (Léa Seydoux) at the Cabourg Romantic Film Festival, 2012.
