Andrzej Zulawski

Andrzej Zulawski is a Polish filmmaker. His films are powered by magnetic performances from his actors, destructive passions, violent manichaeism and romantic lyricism. He has worked with various actors, from Romy Schneider to Sophie Marceau, Isabelle Adjani, Francis Huster, Jacques Dutronc, Guillaume Canet, Lambert Wilson and Valérie Kaprisky. In addition to making films, he also works in theater and has written over a dozen novels and short stories.
