Nejc Gazvoda

Born in Novo mesto, Slovenia, in 1985. He's film director, screenwriter and writer. While in high school, he wrote a short fiction stories collection called "Nothing Escapes the quirrels", for which he received the Fabula 2006 and Golden Bird 2005 awards. He is also the author of three novels and a drama play.

He is completing his studies in film and TV direction at the University of Ljubljana, Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. He has directed two student TV dramas: his graduate work, for which he won the highest University acknowledgement, the Prešeren Award, is entitled An Ounce of Luck (2008).
