RIVALES

by Fernando Colomo

synopsis

Two junior football teams – Deportivo Madrileño and Atlético Barcelonés – are preparing for the grand final in Seville. They all have high hopes for this big match; they want to defeat their long-standing rivals. During the journey to Seville, we get to know not only the special bonds between fathers and sons, and between boyfriends and girlfriends, but also their social relationships with others. This ensemble comedy explores diverse everyday situations in a world where the adults are often worse than the children.
