synopsis
Ezra was nine years old when rebels overrun his school and kidnapped him. Meanwhile he is sixteen, has escaped from “The Brotherhood”, and stands before a Truth and Reconciliation Commission headed by the American Mac Mondale. Ezra’s sister Onitcha, who has had her tongue cut out, bears witness that he was present in an attack on the family village in which their own parents were killed and may even have been the one who killed them.
