synopsis

A rather cold and selfish retired high school headmaster, not eager to stay on his own after retirement. He begins to search for a woman to look after his house... and to satisfy his need for affection. With his neighbour, Julien, he sets out on a search for this “ideal wife”, and when a 25 year-old cleaning lady turns up – recently arrived from Belarus and visibly pregnant – the old grouch finally realises what he was looking for: love.
