by Birgit Möller

synopsis

What would you do if suddenly everything you took for granted was taken away? Valerie is a photo model who’s used to glamorous parties, fancy restaurants and expensive hotels. But this Christmas, her life takes a dramatic turn for the worse. While staying at the luxury Hotel Hyatt in Berlin, Valerie has suddenly become penniless and has no prospects for work. Unable to pay her parking bill, Valerie begins sleeping in the hotel’s underground carpark. So begins a vivid survival tale, with Valerie emerging in daylight in an attempt to make money before retreating to her subterranean home. As her situation becomes more desperate, her only hope seems to lie in a developing friendship with parking attendant Andre.
