THE CAVE OF THE YELLOW DOG

synopsis

Nansal, a young six year old girl, is the oldest in a family of nomads in the North of Mongolia. One day, she brings home an abandoned dog, but her father thinks that it will bring the family bad luck and wants to get rid of it. Nansal tries to hide the dog, but on the day that her family moves, she is forced to abandon it. It is only when Nansal's father discovers that his last born, a baby a few months old, was saved by a dog of the Nansal, that he finally accepts the animal as part of the family.
