synopsis
Yasmin is the exciting and emotional story of a modern Pakistani woman living in Great Britain. Proud, popular and self.confident she is trying to break through traditional rules set by her family. In the wake of September 11, she and her family become victims of blatant and often violent anti-Muslim prejudice. Yasmin gives insight into a community that exists on the other side of the street but remains am mystery to most of the white population.
