LADIES IN LAVENDER

synopsis

Sisters Jane and Ursula Widdington live in a house above the cove. One day they find a young man washed up on the beach and nurse him back to health, who turns out to be a gifted Polish violinist unable to speak English. One of the sisters falls in love with the young man, but then an artist visiting the cove hears his music and eventually persuades them to let the young man travel to London with her to perform at a prestigious concert.
