From their ’Purple House’ in the South of Lebanon, French-Iraqi director Abbas Fahdel and his Lebanese wife, the painter Nour Ballouk, start exploring a multifaceted country that seems to be on the edge of the abyss. Guided only by their perspective, each of them tries, through their art, to grasp the beauty and hardships of a generous country that struggles to feed its children.
