EL VIAJE MÁS LARGO

by Manuel H. Martín

synopsis

Manuel H. Martín directs this animated documentary that portrays the first round-the-world trip made by the Magellan-Elcano expedition through the shades of light. By combining animated scenes with archive images, real-life footage and interviews, the film connects the past and the future: from the dangerous maritime adventure, a commercial expedition to find new trade routes that ended up becoming the first round-the-world trip 500 years ago, to the arrival on the moon 50 years ago, in a look back at humanity's journey into the unknown through time.
