THE BOOK OF VISION
synopsis
Eva, a promising young doctor, leaves her brilliant career to study History of Medicine in a remote Campus because she is sick of everyone worrying about her. During her “escape”, she concentrates her research with the help of her tutor, Henry, on The Book of Vision, written by Johan Anmuth, an 18th- century Prussian doctor. The Book of Vision is not a proper scientific text; rather it contains the hopes, fears, and dreams of more than 1800 patients. The patients’ spirits still wander through the pages. The book hides a mystery. Life and death are both part of a continuous flow.
