An old and sick man finds a smartphone: inside there are videos that tell the life of a woman who moves from a small town in southern Italy to work as a teacher in a city that proves hostile and incomprehensible: Rome. The smartphone woman is a film shot mostly with a mobile phone, with the purpose of capturing real life at the very moment it manifests itself, to use it in the construction of a fictional story. It is not auto fiction, nor fiction, nor cinema of the real, nor documentary, nor fake documentary. Perhaps a false fiction?
