Don Luca is a priest. By day he officiates rites and prays. He does the job of the priest, with care and respect for the faithfuls of his community. By night, however, he learnt to live with insomnia. Taken off the priestly dress, he drives the car straight to the city, roaming through it until dawn. He is attracted by the nightlife and, at the same time, disturbed by it. He brings help but even drug and money to people who need them to survive. So Don Luca starts getting more and more into debts. One day he must deal the protector of a young working girl and then with a loan shark lady, who threatens him to reveal all to his quiet community.
