SEGMENT ’76

by Oskar Kaszyński

synopsis

During the hot summer of 1976, our hero (a recent graduate of the Gdansk Institute of Technology) starts work in an office. He spends his days awaiting the arrival of Oli, a girlfriend studying in Prague. His leisure time is occupied by repairing his beloved jeep. He has his own apartment, a job, a girlfriend, but he lacks only one thing - furniture! He doesn't have furniture! This comedy is all about love and business in the 1970s, a little-seen period of the PRL (Polish People's Republic).
