synopsis

The film is based on the character of Aida, a woman born in the South of Italy, in a village inhabited by an ethnic minority, the Arbëreshë. Her rejection of traditions and the choice of living a different life from the one wanted by her father has taken her far from her village. Aida has never closed the open wound with her origins until she receives a call from her brother asking her to come back due to their father who is about to die.
