DRIVER

by Yehonatan Indursky

synopsis

Ruzumny is a driver in Bnei Brak who in the evenings drives people who need money from one wealthy member of the community to the next. The purpose of the visits is to get as much money as possible. Ruzumny teaches his clients to tell stories that make listeners especially generous. In the mornings, Ruzumny goes back to his 12-year-old daughter, making her sandwiches and taking her to school. For some reason there are only two of them and of course they also have a story to be told.
