THE LOST PATROL

by Vicente Ferraz

synopsis

During World War II, looking up at the Monte Castelo Mountain in Italy, a Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB) minesweeping platoon is hit by a panicattack that sets them running aimlessly right into the middle of a “no man’s land”. On their way, they meet two other deserters: a remorseful Italian soldier trying to join Partigiani and a German officer who is just simply tired of the war. With the unexpected help of their ex-enemy, the soldiers turn into heroes, disarming the most feared Italian minefield.
