DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE
synopsis
„Our time is now“ is Cro’s motto. The panda-masked German rapper organises a competition in order to finally get himself immortalised on the big screen. Fans and professionals are asked to send in ideas on how best to capture Cro’s life on film. Three participants make it through to the final stage: Vanessa, a film student with Asperger’s, wants to use the camera to document Cro’s present; Ludwig, an artist, wants to make an animation film taking Cro’s life as a basis; and lady’s man Dawid wants to cast an eye on the rapping panda’s future. The final film project that unites these three ideas is as much a unique experience for Cro as it is for the three young filmmakers.
