MY SPITTING IMAGE

by Aruna Villiers

synopsis

In order to put a painful past and a terrible sense of guilt behind her, a sterile young woman goes to extreme lengths to give birth to a young daughter, comforted by her obstetrician husband. The child's growth is abnormally rapid and she becomes the spitting image of her mother, gradually taking over her mother's role in the family. A diabolical spiral inspired by the theme of cloning. The never seen story of a woman who gives birth to herself but doesn't even know it.
