synopsis

A romantic thriller about love and hate, set in nineteenth century France. Charlotta meets a mysterious stranger during a fire in the monastery in which she was brought up. Several years later, she marries Raoul, a Count with an angel face, who takes her to the manor of Mornay where his stepbrother Filip also lives.
