synopsis

The life of Lino Micciché – an intellectual, film critic, film historian, essayist and cultural promoter – recounted from the particular viewpoint of his son, the director Francesco Micciché. By showing unreleased materials provided by Rai and the Archivio del Movimento Operaio (Labour Movement Archive), the film recalls an important moment in the history of Italian cinema, between the late 1950s and the 2000s, through the intense life of Lino Micciché. In this journey, the film reflects on the generation of our fathers and what they have left to their sons.
