TALES FROM SAHARA WAR

synopsis

Pablo is a young legionary who desert when he refuses to carry out an order of repression against a Saharui family. In gratefulness, they protect him in a water well in the desert. Months later, the Sahara is invaded by Morocco and Mauritania. Pablo must start off with Saharauis in his exodus for Algiers. He faces a new culture, this forced him to adapt and to coexist with its disavantages, all this in the middle of a war in whitch Saharuis defends the independence of the Western Sahara. Pablo is the witness of a war, in witch he will be a hero, but he will remain without origins, family and mother country.
