LE VENTRE DE JULIETTE

by Martin Provost

synopsis

Juliette is too young to be pregnant and yet… She knows that she wants to keep this baby that she hears singing in her belly. Like the baby inside her, Juliette has nine months “to come into the world.” She has Mathias, who she loves but who is terribly afraid of being a father, her kleptomaniac mother’s tender madness and her older "model" sister’s hysteria to deal with… Not to mention her father, a man she has never known and who is reputed to have abandoned her at birth.
