synopsis

Inspired by the works of Anatole France, the film consists of three love stories that take place in 1664, 1883 and 1990 respectively. With influences from fairy tales, Oriental legends, the Talmud and the medieval books of Cabala, the film is a kaleidoscopic and hypnotic affair.
