synopsis

Paris, 1999. Yasmine, of Algerian descent, hasn’t heard from her fiancé Rachid who had a sudden impulse to join the Algerian army some time ago. Worried by his silence, she goes looking for him. Alone in a country whose language she doesn’t speak, Yasmine learns that Rachid got caught in a bloody ambush set up by Islamist fanatics.
