synopsis

Based on a series of cartoon characters invented by artist Andrea Pazienza including: Zanardi aka Zanna - a perpetual student; Pentothal, an anarchic cartoonist and Fiabeschi, a mentally-fragile student torn between love, military service and exams. Set in Bologna in the Seventies, this is the story of three flatmates who never meet one another. A 24-hour look at their disorganised lives.
