LYNCH

by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz

synopsis

A 60-year-old man is murdered in a small village. Six of the villagers are involved in the crime. However, the victim turns out to be a repeat offender, who terrorized the area and its residents for years. The villagers, none of whom had any prior criminal records, were charged with first degree murder and sucked into the works of the ruthless investigatory and judicial system. The local residents, led by the defendants' families, begin a struggle for their acquittal.
