SCONTRO DI CIVILTÀ PER UN ASCENSORE A PIAZZA VITTORIO

by Isotta Toso

synopsis

Piazza Vittorio is situated in the heart of Rome's historic Esquilino neighbourhood, the bourgeoisie residence of bureaucracy in the late 19 th century. Surrounded by tourists and the bustle of everyday life, its proximity to the city's main train station has, like in cities the world over, turned it into a place of arrival, as well as ethnic and cultural stratification over the years. In one of its old Umbertine buildings unfold the lives of a mixed group of roommates, a small multi-ethnic crowd of various cultures, origins, religions and lifestyles.
