by Fabian Eder

synopsis

Software specialist Anna Margotti, who has been commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior to develop a programme for compiling data on potentially dangerous minority ethnic groups, falls in love with a Turkish calligrapher, Hikmet Ayverdi. Through him, she becomes acquainted with the traditions and customs of the Alivi, an Anatolian community which sees itself as an alternative model of nationalism and Islamism.
