PROPHECY
by Johan Melin
synopsis
At the centre of this drama about a group of individuals and their quest for happiness is 60-year-old aspiring wirter Sofie. One day, she decides to burn everything she has written. But, Sofie is unaware that her stories are prophecies coming true for her 'broken crowd' of characters: her daughter, Eva, who is to be married this very day; the spiritual dark-hearted guru Lars, who is planning a comeback; Ruth, who has had a near-death experience, and is afraid of love; and Johnny, who is full of hate since he got into a wheelchair. The film takes us on a transcendental journey about magic, loss and love.
