Commenting on the deal, SF Studios’ CEO Michael Porseryd said: “We are very happy and proud to have entered into this new agreement with Paramount. The entertainment landscape and consumer behaviour are constantly shifting, but one factor remains consistent: audiences’ appetite for content. We are thrilled to be able to share their expansive library with consumers in the Nordics and look forward to working with Paramount in releasing their exciting slate.” Paramount Pictures’ President of Worldwide Home Entertainment Bob Buchi added: “We are delighted to be working with SF Studios, which has exceptional distribution experience and a long history of success. Fans continue to enjoy watching and collecting their favourite films and television shows on disc and we look forward to delivering our world-class content under this new agreement.”
Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures’ Senior Vice President Home Media International David Elliott will continue to oversee the studio’s licensee sales and distribution in the Nordics and internationally.
